The Peace Journey Guides Global Friendships.
Technology is our vessel as we set course with youth at the helm placing high school teens from the USA on direct paths to meet via satellite and in person, teens from cultures around the world. Each trip carries its own mission, whether it is building computer labs, climbing a mountain together, going on safari, or training youth as journalist reporting on trends and culture. Each Journey carries with it a deep mission to guide global friendships and understanding, sharing their discoveries online and offline in cyber-educational-adventures featured at www.peacejourney.com and celebrated in music and cultural events around the globe. Peace Journey trips are in the works for The UN Millennium Project and The Earth Institute at Columbia University in NYC.

In addition, we support the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs), agreed to by 189 nations in 2000 at the United Nations Millennium Summit, signify an unprecedented level of consensus on what is needed for sustainable poverty reduction. The Goals represent an ambitious, yet achievable agenda for reducing poverty, improving lives and the environment, and involving developed countries in elevating the lives of humans in the world by the year 2015.

Each Peace Journey has a central critical mission to bring a youth message to the world.
Youth return home with a heart for community involvement, sharing their stories and mapping the way to respect for diverse cultures as we advance our chance for a more peaceful and caring world.

Sixty (60) Peace Journey Youth travel to Mexico and 60 wonderful friendships of two cultures were cultivated and will be sustained for peace! Tejupilco is a town with deep legacy from it’s ancient architecturally constructed ruins to it’s salt mines, to it’s wonderfully enterprising people. The thing that struck us the most within all of its physical beauty was the humanity of this incredible jewel in the heart of Mexico. The children, the schools, the shop owners and the parents are Tejupilco’s most important assets!
